Hollow Cells looks to uncover the meaning in a world that has become empty and distant over the last two years. The space that exists between isolation and connection, absence and presence, the empty space between nostalgia and the uncertain future.

Building off the punk, hardcore and metal roots from growing up in North Dakota and Minnesota we dove into the rich veins of grunge, psychedelia, emo, indie rock and sludge that have crystallized in our adoptive Pacific Northwest.

Squalls of fuzzed-out guitar meet thundering drums and growling bass before receding into silence like waves in the Pacific moonlight, like smoke in the valley, like fire and riot in the empty streets of Portland. That tension between substance and void is the work we find in these hollow cells.
